Short Description
Do firms adjust their operations management, monitoring processes, target setting, human resources management (promotion, training and compensation) or their organizational structure (depth and width) in response to environmental changes? What is the preferred adjustment strategy? How important are these adjustments for the extensive and intensive margins of production? How do these adjustment strategies correlate to the ownership structure of the firm and other firm characteristics (heterogeneous responses across different firm types)?
